limitation about the number of CCM server connecting to JTS

Natsumi Yokoyama (209387101) | asked Nov 21 '11, 7:01 a.m.
Hello,

Is there any limitation about the number of CCM server connecting to one JTS server?

My understanding is that it depends on a capacity of its web application server,i.e. CPU or memory. For instance, the number of concurrent users or projects will affect how many CCM servers can connect to one JTS server. Is there any other guideline or factor to make a decision about the number of CCM server connecting to one JTS ?

I have already known about following information.
*Determining the number of Jazz Team Servers to use
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_how_many_jts_servers.html

My customer wants to deploy RTC to their organization. His projects are global distributed and huge. We need more information.

Thank you for your kind support.

How many instances do you have in mind ? We've seen JTS shared by 3 instances of CCM with no problem; and as you stated as long as you have the machine capacity, it will be fine.

As always, you also want good network connectivity between a CCM and its backing JTS.
