Currently it is stated that only Microsoft Active Directory 2003 SP2 is supported as Identity management system (tivoli as well).
When will Microsoft Active Directory 2008 will be supported officially?
I have seen in the forums that people are using Microsoft Active Directory 2008 with no issues, but need to know we will be able to get support if running over 2008, or alternatively to know when it is planned to be supported.

Hi

Not sure when AD2008 is going to be supported, but generally, support is really helpful when you do have problems with this kind of thing. If support can reproduce the problem in a supported environment, it will be dealt with immediately, and most of the time they will be sensible and help even if it is not the case.

p.s I don't work in the support team - but this has been my experience so far.

If it helps, we have been using RTC with MS AD 2008 for six months with a user base of ~800 users and ~18000 work items. We understood 2008 wasn't supported but accepted the risk after some reasonable testing.
