Access Jazz from a company's extranet

Rainer Hochecker (4175) | asked Nov 10 '11, 4:43 a.m.
How can a Jazz application be exposed to the extranet? Assume the public URL is e.g.

myserver.mycompany.com/ccm

Is it possible to access the same server from outside with a different URL? e.g.

extranet.mycompany.com/ccmserver

Rainer

The problem with doing this is that the URL's the Jazz applications generate are based on the public URL you entered during setup. This means that if you were to access the application at extranet.mycompany.com, most of the links in the application will still point to myserver.mycompany.com.

If your Jazz application has already been setup, the only option would be to make the myserver.mycompany.com URL accessible to users on the extranet (via DNS for example).

If this is a new installation you should look at creating a single domain that is accessible to users both internally and externally.
