Change set notifications?

Hi all,

I am new to RTC and am looking for a way to setup some sort of notifications when a team member checks in a change set in RTC source control. (NOTE: we are not using the workitems).

Our team is not in RTC daily nor sometimes weekly but still need to get notifications of change sets when they are delivered.

Is there a way to setup automatic email notifications every time a change set is delivered?

If this is not possible my other thought was an RTC report. Is there a way to report on this and email the report to distribution list?

I know RTC has an api is this something a user could tap into to write a script to do this if there is no feature to do this...

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi,

Currently we do not have this support for SCM related operations. We do have email notification for builds. Not to imply that this will solve your problem, but you could set up a build to run only when new changes are delivered to a stream, and then the build could send emails out to users (as a result of the new changes).

However I suggest you add a comment in the following work item with what you have in mind:

That's exactly what I am looking for. I added a comment. Hopefully it will be implemented soon.
