RTC 3.0 - Client and server version do not match

Andrea Mantovani (4174) | asked Oct 03 '11, 6:23 a.m.
Hello,
we've a RTC 3.0 server installation, and the corresponding client package.
With the same installation procedure, in some machines the client configuration works fine, while in some others it's failing.
Specifically, when trying to connect to the repository, the client raises the error "Client and server version do not match".

I searched for similar topics but I didn't find a solution.

Do you have experienced the same issue during the configuration of RTC 3.0?

Thanks,
Andrea

Make sure they are specifying the repository URL correctly, this is the first error you see if the url does not match.

Should be something like: https://jazz.domain.com:9443/ccm

They need to have the protocal, server, port, and context root correct to establish the connection.

We're using the same settings for all the machines where RTC is installed, and the same URL works fine on other PCs.
