Hello,

wer are just migrating from 2.0.1.1 ifix2 to RQM 3.0.1.
We are struggle with one step from the Online Help covering upgrading the report data for dw from version 2 of RQM.
This is also required according to help when using the internal BIRT reports.
But the path described in the help for the xdc file needed for the command seems to be wrong which Path we have to use (RQM 2 or RQM 3.0.1?)

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/t_migrate_reports.html

repotools-jazz -migrateDatawarehouse schema=/path/to/xdc

Best Regards,
Ren

Hello Rene.
Not sure I understand the question. If you had a Data Warehouse for RQM
2.x by using either Insight or Common reporting then you had an xdc file
that you used for the ETLs. You need to feed that xdc into the repotools
command by specifying a file path where it can be found.

Peter.

I saw that you submitted feedback to the online help and now I understand.

The default path is
<rqm2>\server\cognos\deployment\xdc\Configurations.

However the help page should describe how to find out where the file
really is: You do this by opening the Windows ODBC Administrator panel,
select the entry for RQM in the System DSN tab, click Configure and
write down the path shown there.

Hope this helps,
Peter.
