RRC 3.0.1 / RTC 3.0ifix1 Integration Problem

I Have a RTC 3.0ifix1 and a RRC 3.0.1 installed on different machines and different JTS servers, and I am trying to integrate them.
I add the friends and the consumer keys, but when i try to associate the Projects i get the error:
Failed to read matching artifact container catalog resource:
Unable to load URL: /jts/proxy?uri=https://host:9443/ccm/oslc/workitems/catalog, Status: 500
Can anyone help me with this? Is there a guide to integrate the two applications on different JTS servers?

Obviously RTC 3.0 iFIx and RRC 3.0.1 are different JTS versions, is there any reason that you would not want to upgrade RTC to 3.0.1 and then install RRC in the same JTS? This provides a number of advantages - common license management, user management, project administration etc.
If they need to be on different versions are you able to open the URI specified in the above message
https://host:9443/ccm/oslc/workitems/catalog
The browser page should provide more information on possible errors.
