Has anyone faced issues with personal build request getting ignored when requested explicitly on "Command Line - Jazz Build Engine" type build definition in Eclipse?

 We have created a "Command Line - Jazz Build Engine" type build definition in Eclipse for invoking gradle build files. Normal build requested completed successfully. When attempting to request personal builds with specific user workspace selected, build request defaults to workspace associated with build definition. If we repeat the same procedure with WebUI then build gets initiated as personal build properly. We are on CLM 6.0.5 iFix05 at the present.
