CC ImporterLast imported baseline was not found in stream
I did the following:
1. There are two components in CC, JUnit_src and JUnit_Sample_src. 2. I imported JUnit_Sample_src first with all baseline, no problem. 3. I see there is a new component called JUnit_Smaple_src created in RTC and file loaded. 4. I see a CC sync stream called JUnit_int and merge workspace created with the above component. so far so good. 5. Then from the same CC sync stream, I run the import again, added a new component JUnit_src, start the import, but this time with the latest baseline with an attribute on it. 6. It fails with the following error. ... 7. I see a new component called JUnit_src created in RTC, but not appear in the same merge workspace, but is in the same CC sync stream. Component: (CTLocation: COMPONENT|oid:433bdcdb.5ca54659.8621.59:b7:4c:b2:1e:16@vobuuid:fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da) Stream: (CTLocation: STREAM|stream:JUnit_int@\OPENX_PVOB) Last imported baseline: id=(CTLocation: oid:d839de02.3709424f.95be.6c:09:36:ce:25:85@vobuuid:fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da) id=null Baseline List: loc=(CTLocation: BASELINE|baseline:JUnit_19_07_2011.1689@\OPENX_PVOB) id=oid:8ca10534.350e4765.aaf3.0d:c1:fa:78:36:81@vobuuid:fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da Try deleting the sync root in that component, synchronizing, and adding back the sync root Build failed. I ran this scenario with 3.0.1, and couldn't reproduce the problem.
You'll probably need to open a ticket with Rational Support, or a work item on jazz.net, unless someone else on the forum has an idea. The only time I've seen this before was when someone upgraded from RTC-2.0 to RTC-3.0, but based on the location strings reported in the log, that isn't the problem you are encountering. One thing that will be of interest is to do a "cleartool dump" on those baseline oid's, to see what was the last baseline it saw, and what was the baseline coming in. I am using RTC 3.0.1. The last baseline is the initial baseline as shown below.
Then I thought was the initial baseline causing the problem. So I changed something, made a new baseline, move the attribute from the previous baseline to the new one. Run the sync again, got the same error. And how to do this "Try deleting the sync root in that component, synchronizing, and adding back the sync root"? I was re-using the same CC Sync Stream, right click, Select File to Sync. Finally, I tried to start from beginning File -> Import, it then created a new CC Sync Stream and a new component and now success. Question: now the import created two new components, why they are not listed in the project's Source Control --> Component folder? How can I see all the components in this project without doing a Add new comp, search? 5@vobuuid:fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da JUnit_src_INITIAL oid=d839de02.3709424f.95be.6c:09:36:ce:25:85 dbid=4595 (0x11f3) mtype=baseline name="JUnit_src_INITIAL" usid=NT:S-1-5-21-1615723739-2399875057-1591036512-500 gsid=NT:S-1-5-21-1615723739-2399875057-159103 6512-513 master replica dbid=3 title="JUnit_src_INITIAL" activity dbid=4594 config kind: unknown: =0 attributes: PromotionLevel = "INITIAL" hyperlinks from object: arrow=4739 type=32 hlink vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da hlink obj=4a76529f.90094afa.908d.87:6d:df:e0:7e:bd from vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da from obj=d839de02.3709424f.95be.6c:09:36:ce:25:85 to vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da to obj=2a800939.4ed2424d.bdf9.4a:ee:7a:b4:40:d5 hyperlinks to object: arrow=4610 type=38 hlink vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da hlink obj=660b1312.8b944833.a255.18:38:a9:71:fb:ae from vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da from obj=1c0c0350.950f42d7.8f11.c6:db:d1:a1:12:50 to vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da to obj=d839de02.3709424f.95be.6c:09:36:ce:25:85 arrow=4633 type=38 hlink vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da hlink obj=5c00fb8b.74494893.9b8b.df:d2:06:48:3e:64 from vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da from obj=e07e8512.422a406f.871d.0c:81:2e:4e:2c:a9 to vob=fe5a20af.fdca4e49.ba18.32:10:0c:1d:66:da to obj=d839de02.3709424f.95be.6c:09:36:ce:25:85 M:\admin_JUnit_int\OPENX_CVOB2\lost+found> |

I think you were on the right track. To confirm, please try creating a
new sync-stream, now that the component has a baseline other than the initial baseline. If that works, then just delete the original sync stream. Cheers, Geoff On 7/20/2011 10:23 AM, hujirong wrote: I am using RTC 3.0.1. The last baseline is the initial baseline as |

I was able to reproduce. It is work item 172036.
Creating a new sync-stream should fix the problem. Cheers, Geoff On 7/20/2011 9:25 PM, Geoffrey Clemm wrote: I think you were on the right track. To confirm, please try creating a |
