No Licence Key Mgmt from RTC 3 running as a windows service

Hi All,

I have a funny scenario at the moment that the Licence Key Management information view is available by the key information is missing when I run as a Windows service.

I'm running 3.0.1.2 service on a Win XP.

I have setup the service as documented here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.jazz.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_running_jazz_in_tomcat_as_win_service.html

I have updated the derby locations to the absolute paths in the teamserver.properties files for the JTS and applications.

I can connect with my clients and everything is ok, except that I get an error message saying that the Rational Team Server License will expire in less than one day when I connect with a client.

In the JTS Admin site, in the License Key Management view, when I start the server as a Windows service the 'Product type = Jazz Development', and there are no license keys listed. I can't install any license keys because I get some path can't be loaded error. The server also has a description of ' CRJAZ1236I A development time license is being used.'

However when I start the server using the server.startup.bat, the key information is loaded fine, the 'Product Type = Rational Jazz Team Server', and the 10 developer license keys are listed.

There is no information in the error logs. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem before? or what I have I missed?

I would assume that there is something wrong in my config is preventing the Server to access the License information but I don't know what it is.

Thanks in advance!
