Clarification of TER reports
I was running a report in Quality Managery called 'TER Listing'. I found that it only queries Test Case Execution Records. Are there plans in the future to expand this query to Test Suite Execution Records?
Also, in this case, does TER mean Test Execution Record or Text Execution Result? |

I was running a report in Quality Managery called 'TER Listing'. I found that it only queries Test Case Execution Records. Are there plans in the future to expand this query to Test Suite Execution Records? I believe that this name is from before there were Test Suite Execution Records. It shows a listing of Test Case Execution Records. We should probably rename it to "TCER Listings" now that there are two types of execution records. Best Regards, Rob |
Yes, that report only applies to Test Case Execution Records (aka TCERs). In general when ever you see TER or "Test Execution Record" it typically applies to Test Case Execution Records only. I created a defect to have the report titles and descriptions cleaned up to be more specific on which type of execution record(s) they are referring to.

However they are exported to the data warehouse, so one could design custom Insight reports to do such reporting. |
So out-of-the-box in RQM, there is no way to report upon test suite execution records?

Correct. work item 50408 is meant to address that.

We have a bunch of TER's that have the wrong Test Plan assigned to them. Is there any way to change/modify/update the Test Plan associated with a TER that has already been run?
