I'm wondering if it is possible to compare the current build workspace without creation of a snapshot with a previous snapshot using the generateChangeLog ant-task.

This means currentSnapshotUUID/currentSnapshotName/... is NOT known/needed, which works for "SCM.exe compare"

Hi Bernd, currently the implementation of the generateChangeLog Ant task requires a snapshot. If it's something you may need (other than just a question out of curiosity) feel free to open up an enhancement work item and in the future we can implement different ways the generateChangeLog Ant task can be used.
