How can I view long string values in drop down lists and multiple select attributes?

Hello,

I am using RTC 3.0.1.1 and I have created a work item with an enumeration attribute.  I put it in a custom layout section in the editor presentation.  When I view my work item the width of the drop down list is fixed and so any enumeration values longer than the width are cut off, and there is no way to widen the list to view them.

How can I fix this?

Are you using IE 8? We have the same issue on IE 8 but not on Firefox. There is a defect for this:


Basically it's a known limitation of IE 8

Thank you for this information.  Firefox does work with the drop down, but in multi-select lists, the window is still a fixed size.  Is there any way to solve that?
