Displaying "duration for non-Task workitems

I am using a custom RTC workitem that I built. But when I add Estimate/Time remaining - these figures are not tracked in the test plan. Only those workitems created with the default work item of "Task" are tracked. How can I either expand the plan to include these numbers, or change the workitem definition to have this tracked in the plan view?

thanks in advance,
cathy

Hi Cathy,

this is puzzeling. Which Version of RTC are you using? Which Process Template did you use to create the project area?

I would expect the planning components to track effort on all execution items. That are all work items which type is not selected in the Process configuration>Configuration Data>Planning>Top Level Work items.

Also, these work item types of course need to have the attributes that are provided at the task work item type for this purpose.
