Can we lookup the process permission from another custom tool using RTC API?

We're trying to make an external tool that forwards the workitem's status to another status and execute another thing outside of RTC. Before forwarding the status, the tool lookups the process permission included in RTC and decides whether the tool's user can go forward.

If there is a sample code for lookingup the process permission, that would be really helpful.
