lscm and scm command line

Hi Creig,

I am using RTC v2.0.02, iFix6. Before running the lscm list command that you tried, I had to "login" first. Did you do that? Not sure if it is required for RTC v3.x. I think that you are using v3.x. You did not mention the version below.

I had to run this first (I am using your server info here with "creigmac" as username):

C:\>lscm login -r https://ralvsy.pok.ibm.com:9443/ccm/ -n nickname -u creigmac -c <Return>
After hitting <Return>, this line is displayed: Password (creigmac@ https://ralvsy.pok.ibm.com:9443/ccm/):

After entering Password at the end of previous line, this was displayed: Logged in to https://ralvsy.pok.ibm.com:9443/ccm/

After "logging in", I was able to run the command that you tried and it ran successfully.

I want to write some server side scripts that act on streams within a project. I am attempting list streams within a project. I am running eclipse on a windows xp machine. I have a client developer license and super user rights. The command I am running is

C:\eclispe_workspaces\New Folder>lscm -a y list streams -r https://ralvsy.pok.ib
m.com:9443/ccm/

However I get the error
Contributor is not a member of any team areas

I have tried passing -c arg that requires the "Contributor to query about" but I get the error

Argument syntax error:
Extra argument to subcommand "list" - -. Try 'lscm help list streams' for more i

No help. My question is can someone help with an example of how to run lscm or scm commands.

"Contributor" in this case probably refers to you (i.e. the user) ...
not sure why it would use the term "contributor".
You can only see streams owned by project/team areas that you are a
member of. Apparently it believes that you aren't a member of any.

Note that "super user" (by which I assume you mean that you belong to
the Jazz Admin repository group) does not let do everything ... it just
lets you do certain key operations (like adding yourself to any project
area).

By default, 'list streams' would use the logged in user id and you can also specify any other user id with the --contrib option.

"Contributor" in this case probably refers to you (i.e. the user) ...
