RQM deployment with WAS and Oracle - failure

Hi there,

I'm installing RQM on a production environment. We have a Windows Server 2003 (64bits), a remote Oracle 10g database and an WAS 6.1 ND application server.

I followed all the installation instructions, and when I get to the Jazz Team Server Configuration I got the following error when running the custom setup:

"CRJAZ0808I The driver "oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" could not be loaded and registered. Support for some database vendors requires that the JDBC driver JAR be provided in a path configured by the server scripts. If you are experiencing problems changing the database vendor, refer to the product setup instructions for more information."

I got the ojdbc14.jar on the correct place, the teamserver.properties is correctly setup and when I run the "repotools -createTables", the command run without problems.

If I change the database to the default Derby database, RQM runs fine.

Has anyone been through this kind of problem?

Please upgrade to the latest version of RQM (see https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/) and review the product documentation (see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.help.common.jazz.calm.doc/com.ibm.help.common.jazz.calm.doc_eclipse-gentopic1.html) and jazz.net resources (see https://jazz.net/help).  If your issue persists, please ask a new question (https://jazz.net/forum/questions/ask), open a defect (see https://jazz.net/mystuff/#tab=workitems), or open a PMR (see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21507639).
