Is there a way to make out of the box attributes mandatory in RQM artifacts?

I know custom attributes and categories can be made required.  Is there a way to configure out of the box attributes to be required at create time?  Specifically, priority (in test case) and test schedule (in test plan)

I don't see any way to do that. you may want to define a mandatory attribute and in its name, remind the user that priority should be set etc.

Hi Brian,
What is your concern here?
Is leaving priority as "Undefined" concerning you?
If that's the case, you can set priority's default to "Medium".
1. Go to Manage Project Area
2. At left hand side menu, select Types, Priority
3. Select "Medium" as Default Priority
