 Hi, I'm new to RPE. I want to use RPE to generate report

currently I  find a link that explain this issue .

But the link is too simple. can u give me specific example ?

Pls help me .

 You can try designing the template based on sample template TestPlan-TestCase-WorkItem-Requirement.dta (available under %rpe_home%\templates\cross-product).

 hi, rpe_home is the location that install the IBM Rational Publishing Engine. Right ?

 Hi , Because RPE is consist of RPE Studio and RPE Launcher This example is only the TestPlan-TestCase-WorkItem-Requirement.dta which is used in "RPE Studio" perspective. I also need the *.dsx example in  "RPE Launcher" perspective.  Need to modify URL and configuration context in the "Data Source" option.

 You only need to configure testplan_feed data source, for which you can set the following URI: https://server:port/qm/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/resources/<ProjectAliasName>/testplan?abbreviate=false

 Can you confirm if the project alias name used in the URL is correct? You can try requesting the same URL in browser or any REST client and see if it returns the data.  You can also try using  https://server:port/qm/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/resources/testplan?abbreviate=false as the data source URI.

 hello Because I 'm new to RPE. so I'm not quite sure about project alias. I try this link    https://server:port/qm/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/resources/testplan?abbreviate=false as  data source URI. generate same empty document

 You can use https://<server:port>/qm/projectAreaMetadata to get project area information. You should see project area name, item id, configuration management and alias.
