How to pass parameters to a report when running it from Excel

I am working with DOORS NExt 6.0.6.1

In report builder I can set up a report which has a parameter that needs to be set when I run the report from report builder.

I want to run this report from an Excel file - I know how to run reports that do not have such parameters but how to I pass the parameter value to the report?

I am guessing I have to add something extract to the link string that calls the report but what?
