RTC - Export/Import while maintaining Rich Text
Hello,
We have Rich Text enabled. Has anyone discovered a set of steps to export and import while maintaining the rich text formatting?
We are adding a new HTML field. I need to take the values from Description on a large set of work items and import them in to this new HTML field.

FORUM ADMINISTRATOR / FORUM MODERATOR / JAZZ DEVELOPER Hi Mahari,
technically the work item command line can export and import/set the HTML/RICH text data. It uses the RTC Plain Java Client Libraries to do that. I have however found a problem in (very brief) testing. The problem is that the HTML information contain quote signs (") in some of the HTML tags e.g. for the coloration.
The Excel export/import might struggle with that. I would suggest to use a test server and see if the WCL or the built in export/import have issues.
Besides the potential issue with the quote characters the work item command line should be able to help. Again, my time to test is very limited right now and I have not received any issues from other users.
