Hello,

CLM 4.0.x
etl_user

Does this user need to be assigned JazzDWAdmins and JazzAdmins? Does this user need to be assigned in each project or will the JazzAdmins take care of it? What client access licenses does this user need?

thanks

Hi Sterling,

Assuming that etl_user is the data collector id. The data collector user ID is the ID that is assigned the Data Collector internal license, and it is for use by the data collection process only. Most of your question is addressed in the following topic from the CLM Information Center at:
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m4/topic/com.ibm.rational.reporting.admin.doc/topics/t_verify_user_id_data_collection.html

Important: The data collector user credentials MUST NOT be used for any work other than the data collection job processes.
Data collector user ID
User ID that is used by the data collection process to access the data. This user ID must have the following permissions:
  • Data Collector license
  • Membership in the JazzAdmins group
Important: Version 4.0.1 and later: When available, the CCM, RM, and QM Data Collector licenses are used rather than the Data Collector license. By default, Rational® solution for CLM implements the following Data Collector licenses:
  • If your CLM environment includes CLM applications that are older than version 4.0.1, CLM automatically uses the Data collector license.
  • If your CLM environment includes only version 4.0.1 or higher applications and JTS, CLM automatically uses the CCM Data collector , RM Data collector , QM Data collector licenses for each application respectively.
Best regards
