Problem to start the IBM Rhapsody on Linux

Hello everyone!!

I installed IBM Rhapsody Architect for Software version 8.3.1 on Linux Ubuntu 18.4 running on a VirtualBox VM.

When I try to start the application, I get this error:

 Hi Thorsten,

Unfortunately Rhapsody doesn't work on Ubuntu. Try it on RedHat, it will work fine.

Having the same issue on RHEL 7.6.
Has anyone else had this issue and been able to remedy?

Thanks

Is that the exactly same error? Because I got this error when trying to install Rhapsody v.8.3.1 on Ubuntu 18.4 and so I realized that Rhapsody doesn't work on Ubuntu.
I installed Rhapsody on RHEL 7 without issues just following the IBM doc.

Notice that you have some pre-reqs to fill up before installing Rhap and you also can try to give us some tail of logs or a better explanation of what is happening.

Leonardo, thanks for the input.
I did install prior to getting the pre-reqs.  Did this to get ahead for implementing an Ansible role while I wait to get access to those needed 32 bit libraries.

By chance, do you know if those libraries will be pulled successfully if they are installed using YUM?

Or do you know of another way I might be able to obtain those additional per-requisites?  I have been unsuccessful in finding other sources.

Thanks for any help!
Chris
