RTC Build failing with RC=16, without any description in the logs

Hi ,

I am running a zOS dependency build on RTC v5. The component being built is a Cobol-DB2 component. The build is failing with below error:

CRHTC1655E The return code (16) (hex. 10) from COBOL compilation (CICS&DB2) exceeded the maximum return code allowed (4) (hex. 4)..

SYSPRINT present in the cobol compilation step is not writing anything in the designated output log/dataset.

Please suggest.
