This question came up from a client wanted to move their CLM environment from on-prem to the cloud.

1.) Does the repotools -export command include history of artifacts?
2.) Are there any known limitations on what is not included in the TAR file as part of this export?

Thanks

Hi Ed,

repotools -export exports everything - the whole database. It can be used to migrate from one database vendor to another.
The issue so far is, it is very slow especially the import if there is a lot of data.
Work has been done to address this, but it is not generally available yet.
