 Hi,

I am using CLM 6.0.3. Is it possible to delete a Baseline in Global Configurations?

Hi Mike,

I do not think this is possible;  but unsure of your use case and which Local Streams it contains? DNG, RTC, RQM, DM?  are you testing ore reviewing global config or is this on a live Project?  you could look into the following IF you are just investigating Global config.

You may want to look into the Global Configuration History to see what the previous Good State was?

1. You could rename the baseline you have taken;

2. Create a NEW Staging Stream (branch) from a previous (good) State of the local Configuration baselines?  You may also need to review Local Stream baselines to define which need to be archived?.

Someone else may wish to confirm - Version 6.0.3 and V6.0.4 can you delete a baseline ?

Hi Matt,

I'm just testing/learning GC.

Where I have got confused is that with other tools a 'baseline' is a reference point (for a better word) but in GC it marks all the artefacts as 'read only'.

In my test setup I created a stream added artefacts into NG and then created a  baseline to show 'project completed'. I then created a new stream from this baseline to start a new development stream. However I then baselined this new stream with 'start new development' it appears that I need to create another new stream to be able edit the artefacts. Ideally I need to delete the last baseline?
