Unable to delete some Test Suite Results
We have a handful of Rational Quality Manager 6.0.4 Test Suite Results that we are unable to delete. Has anyone else run into this situation and, if so, does a resolution exist?
This was first observed in 6.0.4 but may have been present in 6.0.3 (in all cases the Tests were in an Incomplete state (where some of the Test Cases had not yet been run) when the CLM installation was upgraded from 6.0.3 to 6.0.4. This fact may, or may not, have any bearing on how the problem arose (and, in retrospect, it is easy to see that all result data should have been cleaned up prior to the migration but we didn't think about it at the time the upgrade procedures do not mention it either).
The following error is reported (from one of the artifacts - the others appear to have similar content):

I did not experience the same but I think the problem is coming from a known issue in v603 ifix07 which is highlighted in
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg22007558.
If you have v603 ifix07 and run some test suites, it would have the problem explained in the technote.
Then if you did not applied ifix07 and use a repair utility within to repair the corrupted data and upgrade to 6.0.4, I guess you may hit the symptom you are experience.
If you can confirm that your previous version prior to upgrade to 604 is 6.03 ifix07, you may need to contact Support team to find out how to clean up those affected in 6.0.4. I am not aware of the utility available in 6.0.4 if it is not cleaned up before upgrade.

Thank you Don - I was aware of the problem with 6.0.3 iFix007 (that was my first thought too) - but when I reviewed my records I found that I upgraded from 6.0.3 iFix005.
ok. for those incomplete test suite, are you able to resume 'execution' to complete and then try to delete them?
If the data was not corrupted in v603 ifix 05, then leaving some incomplete test suite and then upgrade to 6.0.4 should reproduce the situation and I would suggest to contact Support to find out what's wrong. If not reproducible, the data could be corrupted. if it is reproducible, that is a new defect.
