DoorsNG - is it possible to either rename or duplicate a system defined link

The system defined link for traceability between RQM and RM is "validates/validated by"
My client says that is the wrong term and should be "verifies/verified by"  - is there a way to rename that system defined link and if not can it be duplicated as a custom link with our own names but still lookup to RQM

Not sure about the "wrong term" claim as I'm not a practitioner. But as far as specification goes, the "validates/validated by" link is defined in the OSLC RM vocabulary http://open-services.net/bin/view/Main/RmVocabulary#validatedBy while the "verified" link is defined in the OSLC CM vocabulary http://open-services.net/bin/view/Main/CmVocabulary#verified

I agree its the correct term, however my client disagrees and wants it to say verifies/verified by ... so I either need to be able to adjust the name in DoorsNG, or need to create a duplicate link type that will still go out to RQM with the value of verifies/verified by .... doable ?  I don't think it is

Seeing that it will cause a conflict, I don't think it is advisable to do that at all. In many cases, customers want to do certain things in their unique ways and it requires lots of customization, which ends up in a messy situation.

Thanks for the responses, I was already aware that it would cause issues but I promised my client I would at least ask (and this is the evidence as such that I did as promised).
