"With Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager, we can view, explore, and use data and the relationships among artifacts."
"By including Jazz Reporting Service in your integrated lifecycle toolset, we can quickly and easily consolidate data from a variety of data sources across your tools and project areas. "
I found the above as the overview of RELM and JRS respectively. My question is both the products achieve the same motive , ie, consolidated information across platform, so could you please explain the major difference between the two? Or if they are the same?

Hi,
my opinion is the following.
RELM and JRS are basically related but not the same. Related, because they both make use of LQE as the source of data (I just ignore now that JRS can as well operate on the Datawarehouse). But for me the focus of usage is different.
JRS is more about classical reporting and statistical data, while RELM is specialized in visualizing the relationship (defined by links) of objects with its views and impact analysis.
Just check out the product descriptions here and as well check youtube for some videos, that should help in understanding the difference better.
