Hello team, 

 
I am trying to update an artifact attribute by first exporting the whole module into a csv file, then changing that attribute and uploading the whole thing still with the same IDs, but when I try to do it selecting the "Update artifacts that match entries, and ignore new artifacts" option the information I want to change doesn't get updated(the same information as before is still appearing), and then, when I try to do it using the "Update artifacts that match entries, and create artifacts for new entries" the same artifact with the same ID appears twice in the module with the same information as before(not updated). 

Could you please help me on this on what could I change to accomplish this.

Hello Salvador,

Please see Removing the "parentBinding" column from a CSV exported module view can cause artifact duplication when updating the module using CSV import

 Have you tried using Excel?  I was able to do exactly what you described, using Excel, and it worked perfectly. 


I'm using DNG 6.0.3.

It was because of the "parentBiding" column as Diane said.
