Hi,

When a customer upgrade DM(for Rhapsody) Configuration Management (/vvc) data from 4.0.6 to 5.0.2, does he have to get a patch provided by Customer support?

I have read following notes. It is mentioned about 4.0.4, 4.0.5, or 4.0.7. How about 4.0.6?

  • You can upgrade the Design Management application from version 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.0.5, 4.0.6, or 4.0.7, 5.0 or 5.0.1 to 5.0.2. For more information, see Upgrading Design Management.
  • Important: Before you upgrade from versions 4.0.4, 4.0.5, or 4.0.7, contact Customer Support to receive a patch that ensures proper migration of Configuration Management (/vvc) data to version 5.0 of the Design Management application.
