Can't manage Suspicion Profiles in DNG despite being JazzAdmin

Stephen Bromfield (83510) | asked Feb 08 '17, 1:37 p.m.

 Using CLM 6.0.3 iFix001 on Windows7 with ApacheDS for LDAP.

I'm trying to manage Suspicion Profiles but get CRRSL6042E error stating that I am not a JazzAdmin.

Trouble is, I am a JazzAdmin and this is visible in my User profile. Is this a bug?

If you access the below link, what do you get?

 Looks okay -

{
    "userId": "bromfield",
    "roles": [
        "JazzAdmins",
        "JazzGuests",
        "JazzUsers"]
}

Mmm weird. What license(s) do you have assigned?

Stephen Bromfield commented Feb 09 '17, 4:56 p.m.

 Initially -

Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management - Practitioner-Floating

Then I tried
Rational DOORS Next Generation - Analyst-Floating

Same result

OK. I reproduced it. Please remove the JazzGuests role. It makes no sense that you would have this role.

The error is as follows.

Error!

We're Sorry...
You have the JazzGuest role assigned and do not have the permissions required to modify Suspicion Profile configurations. ID CRRSL6042E
JazzAdmin, JazzUser, and JazzProjectAdmin users can access the Suspicion Profiles Administration; however, only JazzAdmin users can make changes to Suspicion Profiles.
To access Suspicion Profile Administration, you must either have your user role changed to a role that has the required permissions, or ask a JazzAdmin user to perform the required Suspicion Profile configuration.

 Worked like a charm, thanks for the help.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

Good catch Donald, looks like the check is too limited, just looking for JazzGuest.

This is fixed in 604 https://jazz.net/jazz03/web/projects/Requirements%20Management#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=112748
It has been included in 603 IFix005 and is fixed in 601 iFix 11, both of these are pending release.

Workaround is:
Whatever AD group is mapped to JazzGuest, remove that user from that group in AD.

Rosa, are there any plans to release an iFix for 6.0.2?

Comments
Donald Nong commented May 11 '17, 9:10 p.m.

I think Rosa made a typo in her post - it was meant to be 6.0.2 iFix011, which is due out very soon. This is the linked maintenance item.
https://jazz.net/jazz03/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/114569

In fact, 6.0.1 iFix011 was released before this defect was submitted so there is no way it would include the fix.
