Do we have any limitations in total number of project areas in CLM?

Hi,
We have a CLM instance which has more than 600 project areas. Each application (RTC, RQM & RDNG) has 200. Can you let us know if we have any limitations in total number of project areas which we have to maintain? Will it impact the application with performance?
Thanks.

There are no official limitations in the number of Project Areas. You can have as many as you need.

Can you tell us, if more number of project areas will affect the performance?
Thanks.

Well... performance is always subjective and dependant on many factors not just limited to RTC, but also external (middleware, HW, etc.)

However, I don't think that having that number of Project Areas by itself will significantly affect performance.

In my experience, the overall size of the database, the number of work items per Project Area and the number of members can have higher impact on performance than the number of Project Areas itself.

Hope this helps.
