How do I remove or hide a test environment type on the Create Machine page in Quality Manager?

I checked "Set as a test environment type" when adding a new Lab Resource Type.  That type is now displayed in the General Information section of the Create Machine page, just above Remote Connection.  Even with all its subtypes hidden, it still shows up. Is this correct behavior?  If so, how do I remove it from the Create Machine page?  There's no option to hide the type or backtrack the "Set as a test environment type" option on the Lab Resource and Channel Properties page under Mange Project Properties.  Using V6.0.1.
