How can I make the fully qualified domain name appear in RQM dropdown links?

James Paulus (20622135) | asked Jul 10 '16, 3:29 p.m.
We have been able to successfully install a Go Daddy certificate on our RQM server (version 4.0.7), however it is only working with the fully qualified domain name.   Currently, once I click on any QM, CCM or RM project, it removes the fully qualified domain name.  Is there a way to ensure that the links for QM, CCM and RM stay with the fully qualified domain name and not revert out of it?

It appears that when the CLM applications were initially configured, FQDN was not used in the "public URI". If you want to use FQDN in the public URI, you will have to do a server rename.

Alternatively, you can request the Go Daddy certificate again with the host name in your current public URI added to the SAN list. This way, the certificate will be validate for multiple host names, not just the single FQDN. For alias (or SAN) in a certificate, we had a discussion a few months ago.
