RQM: Is there a way to change verification point results for automated scripts?

In RQM, there is an edit button to manually change test case verification points for a script ran manually. For a script ran automativly, I do not see this edit button on the result detail window.

Is there a way to edit verification points for this script? I don’t understand why there would be the ability to edit them if it was run manually and not there when run automativly.

The reason I want this ability is for test verification point that are unable to be automated. Once the automation stops, there will be a prompt on the verification point to run it manually. Once the user runs it manually they can go in and edit the result of the script. Currently I see no way to do so.

Thanks,

Justin

Hi, Justin

I don't think there is a way to manually edit VP for automatic script as it usually involves adapter to update the result in that case. In your use case, you may try to mix automatic script and manual script into one script and run it.
you can have an automatic script up to the point of VP(because you need to use manual way to run verification point any way) and create a keyword for this automatic script in RQM. then in a manual script, add keyword to the first step and then have another further steps for the result of manual VP. This could be a workaround for your scenario.
Thanks
