How to set "Links" as Mandatory before saving a work item
When creating workitem in RTC it is fundamental that the engineer links the original defect to the APAR workitem. This is done by adding a 'Related' item under the 'Links' tab.
i want to make it mandatory to have such link.

I want to add related defect to a Workitem type before saving. When user hit on Save with out adding related defect link, user should see a message saying "link" is mandatory.

yes  nothing built in.. one would have to make a server side extension to do this
