Cursor repeatedly jumps to beginning of Discussion/Comment field (Chrome/Safari)

 Using the Chrome/Safari browsers (but not on Firefox), when typing in the Dicussion / Comment field, the cursor repeatedly (every 6 or so characters typed) jumps to the beginning of the field.  It seems to happen when there is the slightest delay in typing.  

Using Rational Team Concert, 5.0.2 on Mac running Yosemite.

What are the versions of the browsers that you are using? You can reference them to the supported browser versions which can be found here: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMSystemRequirements50#B2_Browsers

Safari: Version 8.0.5 (10600.5.17)
Chrome: Version 46.0.2490.80 (64-bit)

Based on the support document you pointed to
Apple Safari 5.1 and future versions
Google Chrome three latest releases

So they should be supported levels.
