Save Button Greyed Out.....

Our users periodically have our save button greyed out after making changes in a plan or even a work item.....
Sometimes they can edit another work item in a plan and make the button live, but sometimes the only hope is to refresh, causing lost changes.

Has this been happening to anyone else? Do you know how to reproduce the issue? We can't seem to find a pattern for showing when this happens.

Hi Lora,
You can try enabling Firebug to see if you have any errors there. This might help to narrow the issue.

 Hello Lora,
the key here is to determine a pattern, and extract a step by step scenario to reproduce the issue.
We also may need more information:
- does it happen for all users, or only some users,
- does the issue happen for all Project Areas, only a couple of PA?
- are the PA customized?
- does the issue occur in the WebUI (all browsers?) or also in the Eclipse Client?
- did you try different browsers (IE, Chrome, FF)?
- what is the version of RTC you're using?

Agree : this makes a lot of questions :-(
If you are able to reproduce this issue in a systematic manner, using detailed steps, you may as well open a PMR so we investigate your issue - https://jazz.net/help/support/

Thanks,
Eric.

Thanks Eric,
This used to happen more often with older versions, but now it is much more periodic.... I haven't seen it in a month or so, but my users are still complaining. This happens for all types of users in multiple project areas run into this. All of our project areas are customized, but they are as good as the same template. This seems to be a web client problem and probably mostly Firefox/Chrome since we told our users to not use IE.  We are using the latest 4.0.3 release..

 Hello Lora,

so I think you may try and determine steps to reproduce, so we can move forward.
Once determined, feel free to open a new defect or a PMR.

Thanks
Eric
