Hi Team,

We plan to upgrade our CLM 5.0.1 to CLM 6.0. While running setup we found that there are some additional components available for install as optional. 

clm6_components 

  • Global Configuration Management                                         
  • IBM Jazz Reporting Service                                              
  • Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager                                  
  • Link Index Provider

Current Setup is CLM 5.0.1 installed using distributed architecture.  

Questions we have is 
		


		
1. We look to keep our enviornment as simple as possible.
		
2.   Does these components need to be installed on all the server  (JTS,CCM,QM, RM).
		
3. If we include these components as a part of installation can this we configured based on the requirement.
		


		
Currently we hear lot of limitations from the project teams
		


		
1. Reporting capability the version 5.0.1 provides

The reporting server can put considerable load on the server and should not be put on the same server than any of the applications CCM, RM, QM as far as I know.
