Would the CLM 5.xx tools (DNG, RTC, RQM) run on the Oracle 11g Express Edition (the free version)?

Hi,
I would like to find out if the CLM/Jazz 5.xx(DNG, RTC, RQM) family of tools are able to run on the free edition of the Oracle Database System. If so, what are the implications of running the free version as opposed to the enterprise version of oracle? There seems to be very little documentation on this, so, I would like to further find out how the free edition affects or rather changes the setup of the tools. Thank you, Alick |

Hello Alick,
The Express Edition is not listed in the system requirements document. Please see the system requirements document. CLM may run on the express edition, but you will be running it on a environment that is not supported or tested with CLM. System Requirements for IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 I hope this helps. Alick Banda selected this answer as the correct answer
