Question: iteration planned deliverables checkbox

When creating or editing an iteration in the Project Area Overview: Process Iterations list, what is the significance/impact of the checkbox "This itertion produces planned deliverables"? Does this affect the Iteration Plan documentation in any way? Thank you!

This basically means that the Agile Planning tooling will allow you to create an iteration plan for the iteration. We won't let iteration plans get created for iteration phases, such as stabilization, at the moment.
