Using RFT v8 to test RTC 2.0
I want to use RFT v8 to do some testing on both Web and Eclipse RTC 2.0 clients.
I am having some problems when using data driven commands to drag&drop the hand into the field. Fields are not being recognized. See screenshots for more details. 1) http://img80.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot28437323.jpg 2) http://img25.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot3.gif Although some combo-box are recognized, I can't do the same with, for example, the Description or Summary text field. In this case, the field seems to be recognized but again a data driven error appears, see screen 2 also: 3) http://img25.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot48781454.jpg I tried with Firefox 3.5.2 and IE7. I am actually getting an error when enabling Firefox on RFT Test Environments. IE7 is enabled, but the Test result Failure. I already followed the steps (regsvr32 RTXIEEnabled.dll blabla) I am using java 1.6.0_13 and will try going back to 1.6.0_5 Is there any other configuration that must be done in order to make this work? The Test Environment wasn't configured correctly and the browser was failing the Test. 1-Update to latest java re.
