Hybrid Planning

Eamon Horkan (21216) | asked Jul 06 '15, 8:28 a.m.
Hi , Is anyone using hybrid planning in RTC where a Gantt type plan is developed in conjunction with sprints. This type of structure would allow users to view the entire iteration plan with detailed stories allocated to sprints. I specifically would like to use this for SaaS on boarding / deployment planning.  Thanks.

You can set up the plan views to see the whole set of milestones and iteration/sprints even up to the whole release, if you want. The agile planning component can display a Gantt like roadmap view as well.

Since there is no formal planning if you use an agile template and there is no sprint planning if you use formal, and there is no mechanism in place to keep the plans together across project areas, except cross project planning I don't see how you would approach this otherwise.
