In several UCM projects the Integration stream contains several components from a multi-component VOB.  It would be desirable to make development changes in RTC.  Then synchronize the baseline created on the same named component in RTC to ClearCase.

In what ways could the capabilities of 6.0 - Hierarchical Components be used with the ClearCase synchronization?


In what ways can a better mapping solution be accomplished when attempting to use ClearCase components from multi-component VOBs in RTC?

There have been no upgrades to the ClearCase Synchronizer to take advantage of hierarchical components in RTC-6.0.
