Automatic update of images in widgets stored in source control

We are using the html-Widget on the dashboard to show monthly data (not generated from the CLM tool).

The source file is stored in the source control but it seems that it's necessary to update the link in the html-widget monthly because the copied link stands for a specific version of the file.

Is there a way to use an "actual file"-link (last version) and update the image in the widget automatically ?

Any updates ? Shall I open an Enhancement Request ?

Yes, it is unlikely that this is currently supported, and therefore an enhancement request is likely to be required.
