Emails in RTC are not being sent until 6 hours later

In RTC 4.0.5, work item emails (like set up in mail configuration for Owner, Subscriber, Modifier, or Creator) are not being sent out for around 6 hours. We have not changed any settings from the default for the timeliness of emails. This isn't happening for all emails. Is there a log or a queue or anything we can look at to try to troubleshoot this problem? Or does this sound like an SMTP server issue?

Hi Donna,
- First, I would check with your SMTP team and check if these messages are being blocked / delayed in the e-mail server.
- On the RTC side, under ccm/admin > Advanced Properties, you can look for 'com.ibm.team.workitem.service.internal.save.notify.ChangeEventMailNotifier' and look at Mail Notification Send Interval (seconds). The default value is 600 seconds.
