Flash movie
We are using the Client for Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, we installed:
- Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit
- Visual Studio 2010 Professional
- RTC 4.0.6
- Client For Microsoft Visual Studio IDE downloaded
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/4.0.6/RTC-VisualStudio-Client-repo-4.0.6.zip

All users attempting to login on RTC returns the error:
"The remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway

What's Wrong?

Thanks in advance

Hi Leandro, are users able to login using RTC web on the MSVS machine?

Can you share a snapshot of what's being attempted on the RTC MSVS client?

Regards, Sunil

Try with a different user? No this is not a defect. It seems.. Either the URL :

 >> it should be in form https://rtc406hostname:port/ccm
>> Username / password is wrong, or they do not have priveleges necessary?

Best Regards, Sunil

Well, I've used many times my username and password, it is difficult to be wrong because the RTC is integrated with LDAP. Our URI is something like https://SERVER:9443/ccm. Also works on the eclipse client..

in our organization we have a proxy, there are some settings for this?

any suggestions?

Have you tried log in via Internet Explorer ? AFAIK (may be wrong) VS client uses IE as default browser internally..just a try

Fixed, if the organization use a proxy server, must add the ip of the RTC server to proxy exceptions on Internet Explorer settings.
