Follow these steps to get list of logged in users:
  1. Connect to the machine that has Rational Insight Installed on.
  2. Open a Windows  Explorer instance and navigate to this path <Insight Report Server Install Location>/cognos/bin/utilities/cm/CMTools
  3. Run as admin CMTools.exe
  4. Once the program has loaded go to Window>Preferences
  5. Make sure that you are in the CM section in the Tree View.
  6. Under the CM URL enter the URL to the CM
  7. Click Apply
  8. It will ask you to enter your log on details. Enter them and click OK.
  9. Click Window>Open Perspective>Other and then select CMTools
  10. Click Window>Show View>CMTop
  11. Under the CM top Tab Click Sessions and then click the refresh button on the right hand side.
  12. This will now display a list of all the people logged into a Rational Insight server.

This appears to be a Windows-only answer? I can't find a Linux equivalent for these commands.
