I heard from IBM Cognos support that the Cognos Data Manager will be discarded and replaced by IBM DataStorage in near future.

How about Development Tool in the Insight bundle. Will the Datamanager also be discarded and replaced by DataStorage.  If yes with what version of CLM / Insight

 Hello Erwin,

I'm not aware of any official plan to replace Data Manager in Insight (this is more in the scope of product management).
Anyway, there is already Data Collection Component as an alternative to the Data Manager ETL starting from CLM 5.0 / Insight 1.1.1.4.

I've read about DCC. But was not aware that I can use it to write my own ETL. Did I miss something?

btw, could you  reveal me the name of the Insight product manager.

ETL customization is in the plans, but not available yet on DCC 5.0.1.
